I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I've not found a traditional brewery that makes a decent American IPA, either West or East coast.

I get that they're expensive to make and there probably isn't much profit in them, but Brewdog and Northern Monk seem to be able to make it work.

Spotted this in asda last night. Not a brewery I've heard of before, so thought I'd give it a try. I should have read the label properly as I didn't realise it has lactose in it. That ain't gonna agree with me! Anyway, you got to take risks sometimes in the name of science.

Aroma is straight up pineapple. Little bit of peach in there too, but mostly pineapple. Tastes very fruity too, but not adjunct-y... despite there being adjuncts! I might but this again, depending on the levels of lactose intolerance 😄

My new bitter, with a sprig of acer to garnish, apparently.
Not dropped clear yet - I knew it wouldn't have, but I couldn't wait!
Hops flavour all the way through to the bitter end 😉, but not really obvious on the sniff.
Peculiar, when the dry hopping was obvious when I transferred from the conditioning cask to the serving cask only 4 days ago.
Maybe they'll return when conditioned longer and dropped clear🤞🍻.
Always positive me.
A glass half full kind of guy.
Which reminds me, it's Oz Chardonnay and roast chicken time.
See ya!

Had a busy day today, I am now having a TC in the cool evening air I brewed this in November or around that time it is lovely I may have a few more in memory of Jurgan Klopp View attachment 99629
Bit of a sad day really. I’m toying with the idea of brewing a Klopp inspired beer in commemoration. A Dortmunder Export of course. Think I’d call it “Gegenpress”.

Glad we could supply you. Were you queing at the bar waiting for it to open? There were a few of them in Turkey
😂. I was a late comer to the bar! There were a couple of blokes sat round the bar at 8:00 but it doesn’t open until 9:00, I bet they were really thirsty by then.
