guys i have just done my kit to the point of adding my yeast do i sprinkle and leave it or mix it in i am unshure if it makes a difference all help greatly recieved, atb wayne

Give your yeast a head start by adding it to some water at 30C, in a sanitised cup, and leaving it for 10-20 minutes. It will enable the yeast to rehydrate their cell walls and give you a larger yeast colony to start munching on your wort. Then just pour it in and give it a gentle stir.

It will be perfectly fine as you've done it. Rehydrating your yeast means that more of them are active straight away, so your brew will start fermenting earlier :)
