Woke up to some good news. Asked Keg King to keep me in the loop about the ongoing negotiations with a UK distributor turns out the distributor is Bevie! Good news to me knowing the each Apollo units are individually tested, with kids around gives me some peace of mind.

Best inform Jacob Rees-Mogg as this looks like a major Brexit benefit 😉

I've been emailing retailers yesterday with enquiries about keg king products, adding the news that they will be coming to the UK via Bevie. Some hadn't even heard the news about Bevie. I would suggest more of us email the retailers with enquiries to show them there is an interest.!
I would imagine Bevie are waiting to do some promotion and a bit of an industry press release when they are ready to launch, which will be why a few retailers aren’t necessarily aware.

If the deal has only been finalised this week, it’ll probably take a while to get the actual products shipped over and ready to send out to Homebrew shops - fingers crossed everything’s available in time for my birthday in July.

Hopefully I will have some more news this coming week. As Mr Dundee says we can't expect merchandise turning up at the Bevie warehouse as soon as an order is placed. Manufacture and shipping time will take a while. Hopefully not too long got my mind set on a couple of Apollos.

Must be early days yet just had a reply from Bevie regarding Keg King and they said we don't sell Keg King!!!!!!

Thanks for your message,
We do not sell the Keg King,
I would suggest you content them in regards to stock availability,
Let me know if you have any questions,

Kindest Regards,
Abby - Customer Experience Advocate - Bevie

Strange only got that reply this morning saying they knew nothing of Keg King Or Ultratap Twist?
I got a reply from Keg King this morning, they even mentioned that some UK retailers had been in touch. So it looks like Davegase endeavours have paid off.
I would imagine that it would take time to filter through the ranks at Bevie, usually the case in large organisations.

Sounds like will have to wait a while yet then.
I have a chance to buy some Ultratap Twist in Norway next week but the price seems a little high. May wait for them to arrive here .

It could also be the case that Bevie want to minimise communications until a formal launch to maximise their own publicity, whereas KK are happy to talk about it because they want to reassure British customers that there will be no distribution issues.

I have a 9 hour round trip to Melbourne this week to visit Home Make It in Clayton for sausage making supplies. Keg King is 5 minutes away, I have to call in there to get some brewing supplies, while I am there I will ask Daniel for more info to pass on to you guys.

Back now after a long road trip to Melbourne, Bevie being keen to get the ball rolling are shipping the first shipment by air. Obviously this will not include the bigger items so just the smaller ones. Twist taps, the Spundy and Quickie, PRV's so they will be in the UK fairly quickly. The larger and heavier items will be shipped by sea freight. Had a good look at the Apollo and it is as thick as a razor backs hide.;) I have got one to team up with my Snubby as a secondary. Also got the Quickie for taking samples.

I am well done in after the drive, going to unpack tomorrow.

Still no sign of anyone selling Keg King in the UK yet.
Their website still lists B2B as the UK supplier.
Emailed a couple of UK HB suppliers with no reply from any of them.🤔
