Nice idea, David, but that formula defines a flat surface.
For a slope it would be either (Y2-Y1) devided by (Z2-Z1) OR (X2-X1) devided by(Z2-Z1)!

Thanks. Everything I've ever seen says it's "rise over run" or the slope formula. If it's actually more complicated than just showing the change of a line, that's beyond me.
