Came down for my breakfast at my hotel this morning and they where serving fresh juice from these ! Do you think they would hold for a carbonation to serve like the punch, hooch or maybe a TC ? Be good for the Party's ya see [emoji23]

NO!!

KISS only use bottles to contain condition that are
1) reused and were used to contain a carbonated liquid for 1st use
2) expressly state that it will contain pressure.

Had a similar idea, but to store and bought a two gallon one, when filled there was a slight drip from the tap and under ferment or pressure it would only get worse used to rack my cider though so put it to good use.

looks similar to a Kilner 8l jar with tap. £30 in my local garden centre but saw them £17.00 at ocado online. ( now up to £23 though.

I think the tap would be the weak point.

For them to pour properly you have to have the lid open.
