Next year i'll be getting round to building a shed/brewshed in the garden and will be moving the majority of my brewing out there.
in the mean time my plans is to start to put together various elements.
So today i picked up an old ticket printing machine from work. The great thing about where i work is that we have old junk lying around in various cupboards and stores.
The plan with this is to make an all in one electric brewing control unit.
It will house a STC-1000 and connector for the mash tun temperature node, so i can monitor mash temperature
then either 1 or 2 PID units for the boil, again with connectors for the temperature node from the boil kettle. and all the various switches for that control element of things. As well as sockets for the elements.
I'm also going to install 2 13amp sockets in it so that the unit can be used as a fermentation chamber control unit too.
Here's a few pics of the unit before it gets it original gubbins taken out.
