Did a brew yesterday 23l. No issue has now chilled overnight. I was going to drop it into a plastic fv because I need to do another brew (I normally ferment in kettle)

Heres the rub. All my plastic fermenters are in use. All I have is a 50 stainless tank.

Question then... if I use this, I have the space to drop the second wort into it (in two days). The yeast will have started. Technically just giving it a bit more to do?

Hi @MashBag, did you go ahead and fill the 50 tank up with two brews?

At the moment I brew using an 11L stock pot. Fine for me as I'm early stage and experimenting with small batches.
However, just bought a corny I'd like to fill in time for Christmas, and have been pondering doing something similar..

Other option would be a partial boil and some DME, top up in the FV...

Did you go for it? Did it work?
If you give it enough yeast, can't see why not?
