Time to test my Plum Porter, added the essence to 6 pair of long necks, each pair with a different dose. Was only going to have the one, each evening then decided two would be better. Bad move, what made the move worse was I tried the one with the biggest dose in first. 0,130 ml.
Kept the head though thinned as it went down, lacing nicely but still to strong, on the essence.
The error of having the bigger dose fist became apparent when tasting the porter with the smaller dose. I couldn't shake off the taste from the first bottle!
0,05 ml dosage, couldn't really tell, will have to have this again tomorrow, luckily I have extra bottles of the 0,05.

For a 28L batch at 1.060 and 60 odd calculated IBUs I used:
Sulphate forward water profile.
6kg (70.6%) Simpson's golden promise
2kg (23.5%) Simpson's low colour golden promise
0.5kg (5.9%) Crisps caragold
10g each Citra & Columbus @ 60 mins
40g each Citra & Simcoe @ 10 mins
60g each Citra & Simcoe WP 25 mins @ 75C
100g each Citra, Simcoe & Chinook DH

My latest beer I kegged. Big, juicy with a sh1t ton of dry hops to 16g/l and a big soft water profile. Not to shabby for a hump day.

It was a bit of a user upper recipe
2.5kg pilsner
2 kg Vienna
250g biscuit
250g caramunich 2
300g sugar
Yeast will be WLP 530
100g of saaz and 100g hallertau mittelfruh.
Both hops had been in the freezer for a while. I shared this with @dave_77 it's not a bad drop

Wednesday half way through the week. The next two are down hill
Wednesday...on a Mon-Fri working week, Wednesday is halfway through and therefore you're "over the hump" at the end of it. Or even at lunchtime...
