Still in contemplation...historically I'm a late night,last minute,inebriated present wrapper. Years gone by have seen me performing stealth ops into the loft,cunjoring up hidden bicycles and assembling all manor of articles. Now as the children are older it's vastly more expensive stuff in very much smaller packages..

Manic first day off shopping for the big day on Saturday....So starting light on a Cranberry Berliner Weisse, still a bit murky as I force carbed it a couple of hours ago.

I shall fuel the thinking cap with an oatmeal stout that was part of a beer swap with Oneflewover.
I took it out the fridge for half hour before opening. Thick,luscious,nice level of bitterness and a fantastic head! Most acceptable!

I've gently dropped the "curry gravy batch needs making" bomb...I bought all the fresh stuff but been waiting on some spices which have now arrived.

So the downside of the berliner weisse is you drink it a bit quick....on to something for suited for this time of year.. Vienna Lager loving this stuff.

Done! I did deploy a tactical weapon this year, my 13yr old daughter. Otherwise I’d still be at an hour from now.

I finished for Christmas at about quarter to one this afternoon...I've had a pleasant couple of hours standing in queues..supermarket was dreadful! I still got bits to do tomorrow some visiting and haven't wrapped a single thing yet...do I drink beer or not?
