Another one from @Alastair70
This time it is an American pale ale. A little bit of sediment crept through, which gives the impression the beer isn't as clear as it actually is. Carb level and MF are spot on. Aroma of citrus and pine. Citrus dominates. Lovely tasting APA. Great example of the style. I wish my hoppy beers would be so clean. Cracking beer, chum. Cheers!

Finishing off a couple of kegs before a big spring clean, not been doing
so much brewing or drinking this year.
First up last of the Kiwi Pilsener brewed at the end of December.
I overdid it with the Nelson Sauvin on this one but it has mellowed and lesson learnt

This was a steam beer fermented with MJ54, hopped with Challenger and Chinook but turned out more like a strong English ale.
For me this yeast has quite a distinct flavour but not on this brew,
nice biscuity malt from extra pale MO and light crystal.

No work tomorrow so starting with these, i havent had the Abbot Reserve before.

From the master brewers of Abbot Ale comes this super premium beer, Abbot Reserve.
Brewed in limited quantities this is an exceptional treat for that special occasion.
Abbot Reserve is a distinctive full bodied, smooth and mature beer, bursting with rich fruit cake and toffee flavours.

Aroma: Ripe fruit and fruit cake
Taste: Full bodied, fruit cake and toffee
Rich & malty, Crafted quality ale
