My train was cancelled and it will be 35 minutes till the next one, luckily there is a nice if expensive pub near the station so a pint of Purity Brew Co Long Horn IPA.

Happy Friday everyone!
I’m opening proceedings with a GH 60-minute IPA, sent to me by @phildo79. I’ve looked at this recipe a few times. The depth of hop aroma and flavour and from the serial hop additions is fantastic, with loads of lovely grapefruit Amarillo standing out above the other fruity pine hop flavours . It’s a very tasty brew, and now likely to be the next IPA I do myself. Cheers mate :hat:

Crikey..take care man! Our neighbour had Legionnaires disease from dodgy air conditioning..nearly killed her.
Wife was up all last night checking on me thinking I had a pulmonary oedema high blood pressure plus long flight (she’s a nurse) was sick telling her it’s only a chest infection from dry airways from the ac.
Legionnaires is from the big central ac units(chillers) found in large hotels
I serviced ac units for years so first thing I did was clean the filters in all the rooms lol.
On the mend now.

Poured a nice clear Stiegl Columbus hopped pale ale, when the SWMBO'd said, "that's clear, I'll have that!"
So :

Lucky I had a 2nd one to pour for myself.
We'll have these in the garden as it's still lovely and warm.
In fact I think we'll have our Friday night pizza out here too.
Oh - the Stiegl BBE is 15.11.'21,
Still catching up.

Any good? I like the regular stiegl and Columbus sounds like a good addition.

Back in West Wales and earlier had a couple of these. The glass is misleading as it's called Blodeuwedd and at 3.6% must be the most flavoursome weak beer I have ever had. Soft mouthful clean fruity and subtly happy. Recommended!
