What other pressure would you be fermenting at? Liquid comes out with co2 usually made up of water and alcohol. That's why its a good idea to have a receiver in place before the gauge and spunding valve.
well after a 17 mile cycle at 3c - this...

that a fair bike ride to pick up a couple of cans, hope they was worth it 😂

followed by a life & death,
kasteel rouge (8%)
life & death
and a no-gaarden.

whoops i've easily used up all the calories I lost on the cycle 😭

First was just a taster of ESB while bottling this morning.

Really taste the hops despite the carbonation sugar.
Australia Day to day, so traditional lamb chops on the barbie and some oven roast veggies from the garden, while enjoying a Brown Ale which I think is clearing, or it could be wishful thinking.😕

Liking this one. Seen a few of Elusive’s recipes in various literature so thought I’d try a few. Just brewed a clone of the Spellbinder coffee porter on Sunday. Fingers crossed.

I made sure I had plenty of quick brew beer to avoid temptation (that and a keg of very strong choc chip and marshmallow stout donated from a local brewery that was ready to drink)
Sorry DJ. I've got a stomach of steel, but that sounds disgusting. Still, I like to keep an open mind; let me trade you a bottle for one of my Imperial andouillette and tripe shandy. :vomitintoilet:

It was actually very nice. Lots of bitterness to counter the sweetness and very thick. Though I am very tempted by the andouillette and tripe the shandy part puts me off.
I do like a good french sausage

... as the actress said to the bishop. Indeed, it has more in common with a Shane MacGowan shandy than a Shandy Bass. :laugh8:
