I`m a grain brewer at heart. My question is....I am just fermenting a Bass brew. I am looking at trying to get as little sediment as poss in the bottles. Does anyone have any experience of fining all grain? Im not sure what to do as Im a
bit worried that it may ruin the brew and knacker the second fermentation. :thumb:

I use gelatin in the secondary after chilling down to about 2 or 3C in the fridge. I let that sit for a good week at those temps and then bottle or keg as usual. It has worked well for me.

I can always see blurred shapes through my beer. It normally happens after the 6th or 7th pint...

Considering that a lot of commercial craft breweries fine why should it ruin the beer? :wha: :wha:

Even star bright beer contains around 100,000 cells per ml which is more than sufficient to carbonate a batch of beer . . . . . Given enough time

Thanks for those replies. I feel a bit of fining coming on then!! Would it be best to rack it off, then fine and rack into primed bottles do we think??
