I don`t think its ridiclious - but i found the apollo quite harsh, i brewed up to 55ibu with my apollo 55 brew if you have the patience to leave this brew for around six weeks then it will well reward you - smooth and hoppy as hell!! I have around twenty bottles left that are really good - its not a subtle hop but well worth doing a single hop brew with - there would be little point finishing an apollo brew with some traditional aroma hops as they would get lost.

apollo like herkules is not a smooth subtle hop , allgates did an all apollo beer earlier this year wasnt too shaby to say the least!

I saw that article when I did a bit of googling. I'll have a go at some point
