After a couple of mini mashes i am now going to be brewing with new kit (Hop & Grain 10Gal)
i love stouts, porters especially at this time of year. Recommendations for a nice oatmeal stout recipe that will knock me socks off (not me head). Hopefully one i can drink within 4-6 weeks from brewday. Over to you fellas.
Regards gazza

it's not an oatmeal, but i can recommend the Guinness clone i called Genius that i've put in the recipe section as a dry(ish)stout and my TaRd as a full bodied slightly sweeter stout... a couple of people now have them as their regulars ;) myself included :thumb:

vossy has an oatmeal stout recipe on here somewhere i think :wha:

Go for Vossy's Oatmeal Stout - it is a real crowd pleaser. Don't miss out the roasting of the oats - it delivers the lovely slick mouthfeel. :thumb:
