For those with plastic boilers

Just before I start can anyone with a plastic boiler tell me how much clearance they have between the bottom of the vessel and the underside of their element? I'm going for a 2750watt Backer element. Thanks.

I have 3 or 4 inches but that is more to do with how my blue barrel curves at the bottom. Though the plastic does get hot around the elements so perhaps 3-4 inches is about right.
