Argh..go on then i'll send my stout in if you PM me , don't laugh.
Haha I keep getting my timing wrong - got a stout in the FV not quite ready to be bottled, and down to my last few bottles of an English IPA/Golden ESB type thing (how do other folks categorize beers when their recipe plan goes wrong but the results are pretty good?! ) - planning to save a one for either the July freestyle or August English-styles comp :)
Got a couple to send if you pm me your address I will post you a couple out.
Crikey this is looking like it'll be a bumper month!
I'm at work until mid July, but I'll probably be able to get the wife to post a coffee stout to you. Can you PM me your address please?
I thought that until 3 came through the door
I’m guilty of never having entered a beer in the competitions, hopefully last months low participation will encourage more people like me to get involved.
@Oneflewover your coconut chocolate stout has arrived and obviously safe and sound with the bomb proof packaging!
Looking forward to it.
I wanted to send my black IPA into last month's competition but it was heavily oxidised and tasted of cardboard, with some some subtle pleasant hop characteristics.
Just realised I should make a shameless bump... As I apparently should have the entrants by the end of this month which is only 6 days away!
That is according to the rules
Will be posting mine on Wednesday.
If my Mrs did as she was told then mine should be in the post today
Got a black IPA in 330ml bottle. Does that qualify provided it doesn't cost me 15 euros to send it. If it does, could you PM me your address and I'll post it in the morning.
By my books yes! I'll send you the address (cost provided)
I don't know what idiot wrote these rules , but most judges accept them basically up until judging day. They are more guidelines than laws.
Well at least I'm allowed to be flexible
I don't like to leave things to chance
I can't wait to find out who it was.
In other news, I might have one to send provided I can figure out how to bottle from my keg sensibly. And provided it tastes ok, obviously.
Your Wife did well @strange-steve, beers all safe and sound
