I have a local artisan well... It draws water from something like 100m...is it worthwhile having a go at bottling some and having a go at a brew?
I like in an area of really hard water.
By chance there is a successful brewery in the town I live which also draws its water from a well on their site...

I think you mean 'artesian' don't you?
I can't see any reason not to brew with it, although you might want a send a sample off to be analysed, as you would with tap water, so you can treat it obtain the profile you want for the beer you intend to brew.

That's the ones... On their fixie bicycles.

I will have a go. Haven't profiled my tap water, so I am learning all the time.. Spelling, water profiles...
Thanks!

I get water from a nearby spring. Locals use the water as it's 'pure' in that it has had no treatment. But it is very hard. So I use it one part to two parts RO water to bring down the CaCO3 content. Makes good beer!
