Surely their ingredients are water, malt, hops, yeast and perhaps some adjuncts where necessary. If they gave away their specific recipes they don't have too much to lose. Any other microbrewery/craft brewery might be interested but would be more preoccupied making their own recipes, can't imagine most brewers would want to rip off another brew like that. Home brewers would make something similar but not the same, and I would imagine those who homebrew probably buy more beer than those who don't (including in pubs).
Unless TR are hiding something in their ingredients, I really don't see why they wouldn't give it away. It's not like a patent for a jet engine...
