Had my first interview last Thursday (on teams, weird) since being furloughed for 8 months and being made redundant at the end of October, fingers crossed I will hear something this week.
Good Luck mate its tough out there

Bought solid oak flooring a few weeks back and said I'll give it a go to fit it and was really nervous on Friday when I started but come Sunday evening floor was finished with very little wastage and was told I had a done a better job than the joiner had done with our previous floor and that was from the missus and was I chuffed.
Two and a half boxes left and now she wants to replace the shelves I made for the television with it.
But seriously chuffed to bits as it was bloody expensive and I thought I'd bit of more than I could chew.

Greek Mezze for dinner tonight, bloody love it. I just love houmous man, don’t know what it is but I find it a joy lol.

Sorted out my sons switch - present for his birthday tomorrow. Turns out Nintendo are pretty good at that stuff and the only real ******* was 5 minutes of pissing about with login details. After that it was plain sailing which was a right result.

Now we’re on an alright pear wine and Lord of the Rings 2, pretty awesome really.

And I finish work on 22nd wooooooo

I opened the first tap and poured the first pint from a new cornie keg setup after refitting my brew-shed. That made me happy!

I was complaining to the lads in work this morning how difficult it was to get tickets to watch the football these days even before covid struck, so now its just impossible. After lunch my wife phoned up to say I’d won a raffle at the school where she teaches. won’t mention the name of the team, but I’ve won 2 tickets to see my team!! Can’t believe it! The match is not until April so hopefully things might be a bit more back to normal by then.

On another note my employer has been granted planning permission for another extension which is more investment, jobs and security as this time and I'll give them credit where it's due for keeping 1400+ people in jobs during the pandemic with no expense spared on safety measures, pandemic paid leave for both childcare and covid19 with 96 hrs for each and having a job I thoroughly enjoy.

Forgot to add this

It's a positive thread so you can mention your team.I am quite sure you're not their sole supporter.

Things getting back to normal, fishing and brewing comps back on, plus KFC's Big Bash league, once we get rid of these masks life will be perfect.
