A mini van. £50 in 1993. It needed a lot of work but had never been messed about with, completely original. Loved it.

Closely followed by my first boat, a 12ft dinghy with 5hp outboard. Had great fun fishing for bass and mackerel on that boat

My best purchase apart from brewing equipment was my Kawasaki S2 350 triple for £125 which I sold before a full refurb due to marriage now worth £1000's but the kudos of owning it.
It drove me to buy a Cobra 427 in later life which I also had to sell when I retired from my business and had no where to keep it safe
