First taste of my new batch of Summer Breeze. Well carbonated, nice colour, really hoppy aroma, and very tasty - even 4 days out of the fermenter and before it’s cleared. No hop burn, no astringency, just the right level of bitterness. Happy!

After my 4 days "off" I'm now on my 4 days off...so it's beer o'clock!
First my CCC pale. It's too good...pah.. I'll be on a Hazelwood Brewery brew schedule at this rate...so many beers...so little time!
And not enough bottles...

Wife just caught me dancing in the kitchen! Errr, it’s nice? Sod it, I am what I am.
after 2 days off back on the bitter, had a sneaky taste of the wilko velvet stout it's not bad you know 
Now... Tribute #3...yes,I need a badge or a medal for this...

Sooo tempted to try my American Mocha Porter. It's been carbonating for 6 days now and looks good, but want to give it a week or two to condition. Must. Resist. Temptation! So, to help the resistance, I'm cracking open one of my MYO American IPA's. ☺
The chocolate orange stout that I ordered on this week's click and collect wasn't in stock... This was their selection as an appropriate substitute... Can't fault the effort

Christmas specials seem to be such a mixed bag I have had some pretty decent ones over the years but some of them seem to go overboard on either the sugar or the spices.
I managed to tear myself away from the Summer Breeze (for now) and poured a Brown Ale. Photo taken with some colourful plumbing for interest. I think it looks pretty anyway 
Yes it puts my spider infested hut right in the shade...
I’m working with the spiders, they pull the pints and can live in the shed if they stay out of sight.
Seriously, this was my retirement gift to myself and the project has given me a lot of pleasure (and the odd headache) along the way. For a brewing enthusiast, I’d recommend it!
Well you've done a great job...enjoy it H! It's not a rehearsal...
