I live in North Wales and have three Morrisons stores close by one in Connah's Quay no beer kits, one in Chester by hospital no beer kits, one in Saltney and this one always seems to have the kits. There are about three different price ranges starting at under £7 and going up to around £14 the Geordie range is cheaper than Youngs so I have moved to Geordie.
Only problem is only sell kits nothing to go with the kits so still need local brew store for syphon tubes, corks, in line taps, fermentor vessel and I do wonder if really I should be shopping in Morrisons as in the future this may mean I can't buy a simple packet of yeast.
But £7 to £14 is a big jump if it was £7 to £10 then may support local shop but not paying double for same can.
