As i said i would open the IPA. Anyway, here it is.
This is a B&M IPA, brewed the way the instructions stated. The only extra addition was some yeast nutrient as after 3 or 4 days in the FV, there was a sulphurous smell.
The smell went away. Again i feel it was due to the fermentation temperature being in excess of 24c.
Slightly hazy, but i can live with this as it adds to it's appeal.
It isn't Green King IPA, this is just a pub glass i acquired.... cough cough.

Anyway, last Saturday afternoon i ended up on a drinking session with mates from work.
Went in a few pubs, to which there have been a couple of recent additions, one being an Atom Brewery Pub.
Below is an IPA from there... Cloudy to the extent it looks like orange juice and around £4.40 a pint.
Now i am not sure i am an IPA fan overall. I think it is very very bitter, nearly sour in taste.
After bottling my B&M, i tried a bottle after 2 weeks and to be quite honest it was undrinkable... It was foul.
Now, after 5 weeks in the bottle, i must say there is very little difference in taste to the Commercial IPA i was drinking last weekend.
Comparing the B&M to the Atom, it is very pleasing to know in my opinion and tastes, they are very similar and now seems very drinkable.
At 5.5%abv and £6 a go, i think this is probably the most value for money brew i have opened so far.
