Had the tripel now time for the quad. Best in show this. Haven’t slept property the past week with the flu so hopefully this will do the job and send me over.

My Munich Helles
5.2% ABV
11.8% OG
16 IBU
Pitched at 6C
Fermented at 9C
10 weeks conditioning (lagerung) on slow slope from 5C to -1C (classic cold)

Honey and Pastry notes from the malt. Sight herbal and alpine flower notes from the hops.

This glass was poured at 0C so the head is a bit on the low side. Trust me, its fully there at serving temps of 5C.

I was on the vino tonight, but No 2 son got to pour and drink several pints of Rogue Wave, the Cali Common he envisaged, named and commissioned while we were on holiday this year. I’m glad I met his specifications!

Another of my Lidl purchases. This is lovely and does exactly what it says on the tin. Really enjoyed all the beers from Loch Lomond Brewery so far. Will need to look into where they're located and pay a visit next time I'm in the area.

I even made one myself when a student.
