Actually they had a professional brewer go through a tasting of 3 porters, one of them was from the only pub with casks I frequent here. It seems like the trend is away from hazy IPAs and is heading back to more traditional varieties. A lot of "craft" lagers are popping up, which is pretty silly but menus are much more varied these days which is always welcome.
Fell asleep last night after drinking the IPA!
Still a bit cloudy but it has lost most of the metallic taste!
The Coopers English Bitter is still going “glub-glub” in the fridge so looking good for the summer!

Oh no Chippy, what have you done…
A glass of my 6% competition saison. It’s still a little bit hazy but looks more so in this picture because of chill haze.
Please excuse the house as we’ve had a two-day brewing binge, but the son and GF have gone away for a few days in Liverpool so we have the house to ourselves! 
Having something different today as I’m fed up of drinking beer that I don’t like. Jim has made an IPA today and I made a Weissbier yesterday, so hopefully we’ll have something nice to drink soon!

Today, the “glub-glub” from the fridge has slowed down even as the IPA is clearing …
… but I’ve realised (I used to be good at maths) that drinking a litre a day and following a 2+2+2 brewing system and one fridge, will leave me short of beer!
Decisions, decisions! Plus I’ve just got rid of the 2nd Brewing Fridge to replace it with the Dryer owned by SWMBO!
It looks as if the pint tankards (on order) will become more useful if I reduce consumption; but it’s not my first choice!

I’m kind of enjoying myself with the vodka today! Raspberry one now.
The hubby is having a grueller as he’s boiling his beer in the GF and trying the warm up the BZ at the same time to sous vide some steak. The sockets have other ideas though. Oh dear!

Left Mrs Clint in the holiday accommodation guarding the dogs. At the pub with my two boys...youngest is 16 today and the biggun turned 18 last month...how the years have flown.
Beer is Brooklyn "lager"...which is OK.. they have St. Austell Korev lager and Hobgoblin on too..plus the usual pish. Downside is the eldest now would like a proper drink but doesn't like beer very much so is drinking Captain Morgan and Coke...
He sounds like my youngest who's 25. Won't touch beer but will drink a sour, but only when accompanied by big bro aged 26 lol
