Posted mine today, one to fellow member the other to Helsinki, guess which one hurt the wallet more!

Having said that I would happily pay £2.50 for a craft brew in a pub.

Anyone drank theirs yet?

Right, that's it. I hope everybody has been included because my brain has now melted!

Next year, or next major bottle swap, we'll use an email address system instead as there are tools online to do this. In hindsight organizing and sending addresses to 30+ members was a nightmare :?

Results thread is here!

Thanks for all the effort Rob...I'm sure it ended up being a bit more hard work than you first imagined!

Mine arrived today in a Whisky tube, will wait for the Mrs before cracking it open!

Hey welcome back Simon.....where's you bin ?

Hi Brian,
I must apologise for my absence , my dad has been given 2months by a liver specialist,
He has liver failure not due to drinking poor sod!
So I've been a bit busy, he's at home currently but I think he will be back in the JR hospital in Oxford as an emergency within the next week.
He needs fluid draining from his stomach and the next available appoint is 31st Dec.
This is bonkers as they drained off 4L in hospital after 4 days.

This man has paid into our national insurance, tax systems all his working life and never claimed for nowt, and now when he needs care? I won't say anymore. :

Hope all is well with you and yours,
Simon.

Oh Simon that's terrible...... Please accept my best wishes for your Dad. :(

Here's to his recovery.......

Rats !

I've got a couple of days off and was waiting for the postman today.

Eskimobob is making a stainless bottling wand for me - that arrived and I started bottling, but there was also a card form the posty saying there was a package which was 50p shy........ so I'm off to the city postal depo tomorrow to pick it up....... it must be the Secret Santa . Can't wait.

RD

I'm just hoping the Yodel card I received wasn't mine.... "tracking number invalid, please refer to sender"?
Anyway mine went in the post today, I'm a bit late so it cost £5.60 first class!!!! :nah:
Probably half that was packing, if the post office manage to break that one they must really have been trying.

thats mines posted today aswell, £5.60 . I remembered after packing it up that I should probably have removed the label from the bottle doh!
