A beer during a brew?
What could possibly go wrong?
This is a pint of the Half and half CESPAle of Kent.
Still ludicrously good after 4 months in the garage in polypin.
It isn't the first this evening, the tail end of my English Bitter was a bit murky to show - and I had to coffee filter it.
I occasionally indulge in a half whole brewing but on the whole large amounts of boiling liquid and alcohol probably not a good mix.

As for your beer a true southern English pint with a head like that.
 
First two attempts at my own recipes. First up is Bobvar, a Czech pilsner. Has been sitting for about 5 weeks at 1C, a tiny bit sweet but then the hops cut through nicely. Crystal clear which, after the mess I made of the brew day, I’m really pleased with.
Second is West Coast Bob, a Westie. A little light in colour but a real hop bomb. Only kegged last weekend so still not quite cleared out.
I think one of these will be going to the LAB comp in May along with a Porter.

Just to be clear as someone who lives in Oxfordshire that is very much a compliment the number of photos I see on here that leave me thinking if you served that to me in a pub I would be demanding a top up.

Yes I admit that part of the issue is when I am paying Oxfordshire pub prices I am a lot more concerned about the amount in the glass than when I am paying home brew prices.

That’s why you often see southerners supping the first inch while still at the bar before casting off to find their table. Interestingly, northerners stand and stay at the bar so shouldn’t have to worry about any spillage!

I’m always excited and nervous in equal measure where herbs and spices are involved in beer. This one is actually quite good. The lemon and the thyme are both evident but not overpowering. While you could drink it on it’s own, it would go really well with food (in the way some wines are not all that but are amazing with food). I’d say this would be a perfect beer with BBQ sausages.

Earlier had a NEIPA (Simcoe & Citra) from @samale . Nice pale colour ,no sign of oxidation 👍
It had a decent head which stuck around till the end. Hop aroma was subtle pine, didn't get much of the Citra. Mouth feel was smooth with a typical NEIPA body with a light bitterness.Flavour was more Simcoe than Citra.
Well brewed and packaged beer, easy drinking. Maybe a little lacking in hop punch as the fruity/citrus flavours weren't as strong as I was expecting. Very nice beer but just needed a little impact from the hops. Thanks for sharing 🍺
