Its been a busy day in brew-central; 20L batch of saison bottled up and in conditioning fridge, conical fermenter cleaned out, water collected and San Diego Super culture spinning away for tomorrows IPA brew. Time for a beer, an Irish Red from the normally reliable Whitewater Brewery. It’s a bit lacking in body and roasted flavours for me, but otherwise not bad.

First sample of the Kegged half of XX Bitter inspired beer. 6.2% hopped with Brewers Gold & Mittelfreuh..50-60ibu.
I have bottled conditioned the other half of the batch.

First half the football I had @dave_77 Italian pilsner.
Nice beer, had more body than I was expecting and maybe not as dry. This isn't a complaint because I really enjoyed it, nice aroma and very easy to drink. I plan to brew one myself soon, I much prefer this to a straight lager

Second half @pilgrimhudd Ernest Ale.
Nice light fruity aroma, it's more bitter than I expected but I really enjoyed it. Never used Ernest before, I am not sure of the quantities you used but I did enjoy the flavour profile. Had a quick look online and it's a UK hop developed to compete against the new world hops
